Police officers and medics responded to the corner of Fremont Ave. and 34th this Sunday afternoon for a report of an assault with weapons.  Police say the early indication is a suicide near the Waiting for Interurban statue.  Several lanes are closed in the area, backing up traffic through the neighborhood.
