The City of Seattle is producing a map of favorite neighborhood walks, and is currently soliciting input from people in Fremont, Ballard, Greenwood, Phinney, Crown Hill, Loyal Heights, Wallingford, and all of the neighborhoods west of I-5, south of 145th and north of the Ship Canal. The official name of the project is Recreational Walking Map – North Seattle.

Governor Gregoire has signed into law a bill spearheaded by 36th District Senator Jeanne Kohl-Welles (D-Seattle).
