Around 2 on Sunday afternoon, a car caught fire following a 2-car crash at N 39th Street and Fremont Avenue N. Both drivers got out of their cars before the flames erupted, but the driver of the engulfed car was transported to Swedish Medical Center for injuries sustained in the crash. SDOT will be doing roadwork on N 34th Street on Thursday, June 21st. They will be grinding a small section of asphalt, adjusting a utility casting, and resurfacing the area with new asphalt. N 34th Street will be closed to westbound vehicle traffic for one block between Woodland Park Avenue N and Albion Place N
