The deadline for musicians to enter EMP|SFM’s annual Sound Off! competition is Monday, November 9.  The contest gives music performers 21 years of age and under a chance to win a performance slot at Bumbershoot 2010.  Twelve semi-finalists will be chosen to perform live over three weekends in February.  The finals will take place at EMP’s Sky Church

The new school boundary maps have been released with some minor changes that affect Fremont families.  According to our sister site, MyBallard, the most-anticipated change is for Ballard High School.   The new map shows the northern line remains NW 85th St, but the eastern line has moved from Aurora Ave to Greenwood Ave.  There will be two
