Flash mob makes magazine cover at Gas Works

You may have heard or seen a helicopter flying over Fremont this afternoon. It was for an unusual photo shoot at Gas Works Park — of a flash mob. Over 200 people formed the shape of a heart as a photographer in a helicopter flew in circles overhead. The shot will be used for an

Burglar makes off with cash and pills

A resident returned home to find a burglar had swiped about $500 in cash and some prescription drugs from his home.  It happened Tuesday (6/1) in the 4400 block of 2nd Ave NW.  The victim told officers he thought he had locked the door but he wasn’t positive.
