100 or so folks packed the Fremont Abbey Wednesday night for the 5th Anniversary as an arts center. Festivities included face-painting for the kids, musical performances by Abbey students as well as special guests, lots of food and special messages from people who have been influenced by the Abbey. The annual Lenin Lighting ceremony won’t be until Friday, December 3rd, but in the meantime the Fremont Chamber of Commerce is looking to spice things up for the Ol’ Comrade this year.
