Burglar makes off with cash and pills

A resident returned home to find a burglar had swiped about $500 in cash and some prescription drugs from his home.  It happened Tuesday (6/1) in the 4400 block of 2nd Ave NW.  The victim told officers he thought he had locked the door but he wasn’t positive.
