ZapVerr Thai Restaurant and Lounge rolled out the red carpet last month after an extensive remodel of the former Tawon Thai. The new space combines modern decor with playful lighting and a unique Thai menu from “E-Sann”, the northeastern part of Thailand.

Entrees range from $10-18 and include some familiar and other regional dishes diners may have not yet experienced. There is also a variety of Thai soup options available. The bar is not to be missed either with an extensive cocktail menu available.

What’s in a name? According to the restaurant’s website, Zap is Thai for “delicious” while Verr means “over the top.” The combination can be translated as “overly delicious.”
