Sound Mind and Body Gym, located right near the Fremont Canal, announced last month that they will be closing on March 31st. In their final month of business they will maintain normal hours and classes as long as participation allows. We know many fit Fremonsters will be sad to see SMB go.
This change comes after owners Vickie and Richard Harrington sold the building, located at 437 N 34th St, to Seventeen Meters, LLC. The new owners plan to renovate and expand the gym space into a larger office building, paving the way for the new tenant, Tableau Software Inc. to expand. Tableau’s main office is just farther down N 34th street. Additional information about the building sale can be found here.

Equipment Auction-Open to All April 17th:
All Club fitness equipment, office equipment, basketball backboards, flooring, lockers … everything… will be sold at auction on April 17th at 10:00 am through James G. Murphy (murphyauction.com). Preview will be from 8-4pm, Wednesday, April 16. A complete catalog of the items also on the Murphy website. Anyone/everyone can participate in the auction.

Personal Trainers: Our personal trainers are working on various ways to continue their business and we would appreciate your support for them. We will be advertising and promoting them as we learn which direction they have decided upon and we will have their information available in the front desk lobby this month.
