More than 400 are expected to participate in tomorrow’s Trolloween- (the yearly event that celebrates the birth of the Fremont Troll). The “Haunt of Fremont” starts at the Fremont Troll at N 36th Street and Troll Avenue N at 7, then heads west on 36thto Evanston Avenue N; south on Evanston to a private street; and east on a private street to the Fremont Bridge. Seattle Police will escort the procession.

The following streets will be closed from approximately 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.: N 36th Street adjacent to the Troll between Linden Avenue N and Whitman Avenue N.

From the Fremont Arts Council website:

Last year you helped the Troll celebrate its 21st birthday in style. Don’t let it fall victim to the anticlimactic 22nd year lull: come join us for the Troll’s 22nd birthday.

Seattle Department of Transportation’s Peg Nielsen says be safe and have fun on Halloween (and Trolloween):

As we celebrate Halloween tomorrow night, the Seattle Department of Transportation urges motorists to slow down and drive with added caution. If children or adults are walking in the street, drivers should make eye contact with them before moving forward or turning. Likewise, pedestrians are encouraged to be extra careful, wear or carry something reflective, only cross streets at corners, and make eye contact with motorists before crossing.
