Seattle Opera is holding a four-week treasure hunt for free tickets to their upcoming production of Orpheus and Eurydice. And while the locations of the free tickets are top secret, it looks like the Fremont area is going to be a place to find some of them:

Tickets will be hidden at locations around town, and though we’re keeping the specifics top-secret (of course!) we can hint that the location of at least one of the pairs of tickets will be of interest to your Fremont-area readers…wink wink.

Please read the full details and rules here. The first clue was announced on Monday for a pair of tickets to the March 10 performance of Orpheus and Eurydice.

CLUE #1: Allegedly inspired during a flight of the “I’m-on-a-rolla-Gay”

PASSWORD #1: “Green Mountain”

Since no one found the tickets yesterday, they’ve added a new clue today:

“She laid down the law to Orfeo in Vienna”

No idea if that’s Fremont-related or not but you can keep an eye on the clues and tickets at the Seattle Opera’s Facebook and Twitter pages.

Subsequent ticket clues will be released on February 20, 27, and March 5. Tickets for the opera are available here.
