Two separate Fremont projects worth keeping an eye on are going to be up for public discussion in July.

Station 9, the firehouse serving Fremont, is looking to make some major upgrades. They held a meeting in May to discuss code changes on the project but now they need final concept approval. They’ll seek that in a July 27th City Council’s Committee in City Hall Council Chambers (600 4th Ave, 2nd Floor, Seattle, WA).

Meanwhile plans for a four-story commercial/residential building at 4111 Stone Way will be discussed at early design guidance meeting on July 11th at the University Heights Center (5031 University Way NE). The proposal is for a building with ground level commercial, residential units (27 units) above, and parking for 21 vehicles.
