Skillet Popping Up In Fremont

Featured in Time and USA Today, not to mention every major Seattle news and foodie outlet, Skillet is one of Seattle’s longtime favorite street food vendors. Some say if you haven’t track down their Airstream Trailer to sample the poutine and bacon jam, you aren’t officially a resident.

Fremonsters will have ample time to sample those and all the other goodies on their menu when the Skillet trailer pops a squat in Fremont throughout December.

Update: This sounds like Skillet is actually taking over a local restaurant and providing the menu for those times. So don’t look for the trailer to be parked out front, they’ll be warm and cozy inside. Details to come…

According to their Facebook page, they’ll be at Mama’s Brown Bags at 770 N. 34th Street, right across from Waiting For The Interurban, between 11/28 – 12/3 and 12/12 – 12/17. Plan your lunches accordingly.

The menu is still TBD but you expect a lot of the old favorites to be available. Folks will also be able to get “reservations” via Brown Paper Tickets, though that’s also still in the works so keep an eye out.
