Beginning at 6:45 p.m, about 80 customers in Fremont lost power. Seattle City Light says the power outage zone stretches from 46th St to N. Allen Place, and from Woodland Ave. N to Woodland Park Ave. N. There’s no estimated time to restore power.
In Queen Anne, about 1,600 customers are without power.
UPDATE: Seattle City Light crews have restored power to customers in the west Queen Anne area and they are working to restore power to the customers in Fremont.
UPDATE as of May 14: Seattle City Light told us all power has been restored and that the cause of the outage were “bad underground cables.”
