After years at South Lake Union, Lifelong AIDS Alliance’s Gay Bingo kicks off its 17th season with a move to its new home at Fremont Studios (155 N. 35th St) on Saturday.  The monthly event is a fundraiser to benefit Lifelong’s various programs and services.

We have made a great home at South Lake Union Naval Reserve building for the last several years, but the opportunity presented itself to move to Fremont Studios and we just couldn’t pass it up. The new space is really going to raise the bar for entertainment and ambiance and it will translate in to a lot more fun for our bingo players! Fremont Studios is simply an amazing space!

Gay Bingo will take place one Saturday a month through June, with doors opening at 6 p.m.  Adults 21 and older of any sexual orientation can participate (read: you don’t have to be gay to play).  Each month has a different campy theme and costumes are encouraged but not required.  Tickets range from $25-$35 and include ten bingo games, all with a $100 cash prize.  You can buy tickets online, at the Lifelong Thrift Store or at the door if not sold out in advance.  (Disclosure: Gay Bingo is a sponsor of Fremont Universe.)
