Arson Bomb Detectives responded to a call to the North Recycling and Disposal Station at 1350 N. 34th St. on Monday morning. According to the SPD Blotter, employees found an ‘OD green-colored’ 155 millimeter Howitzer round at around 9:30 a.m.

US Army Explosive Technicians from Fort Lewis were also called to the transfer station. They secured the live M116 smoke projectile before returning to the military base for proper disposal.
