Paseo closed for extended vacation

By master · December 30th, 2009 · 3 Comments

In case you are craving a deliciously messy Caribbean sandwich from Paseo, you’ll have to wait until February to get your fix.

Signs on the popular restaurant at 4225 Fremont Ave N. indicate they are taking a long winter break through January 30.  The Ballard location is closed, as well, so you’ll have to find alternatives to satisfy your taste buds in the meantime.  If anyone has any suggestions, post them in the comments below.

Nothing like those Paseos onions…an alternative sandwich? I haven't tried it, but can't wait to — Rizzo's French Dip. And by the sound of their web site, they're REALLY focused — “Here at Rizzo's, we serve one thing; French Dips.”

Fighting Cock Roaster on Thorndyke (Interbay West) has excellent sandwiches as well

Rizzo's is good. I think it was about $8.90 for a sandwich w/ swiss cheese. And you get a side of really good homemade pasta salad. It was good, not too full of mayo. And they give you homemade horseradish hot mustard. Their sandwiches have a lot of meat but they are good!

Bummer Paseo's is still on Winter Break!
