Simpsons birthday bash to be held in Fremont

The longest-running American sitcom, The Simpsons will soon celebrate 20 years on TV. And producers have selected Fremont’s Oktoberfest as the West Coast home of the birthday celebrations. Why? “The team over at The Simpsons camp thought that the Fremont Oktoberfest fits the show demographics ‘like a glove,'” reads a press release. And of course, we know Homer likes his beer. As part of The Simpsons sponsorship, Oktoberfest guests will receive “commemorative glassware,” and the show will sponsor the main stage events. Oktoberfest runs September 18 to 20th.
