Jacko dies, Thriller in Fremont next week

By master · June 25th, 2009 · 4 Comments

As you’ve likely heard here, here, and here, among a million or so other websites, Michael Jackson died today of a cardiac arrest at the age of 50.  What does this have to do with Fremont?  As noted earlier on Fremont Universe, next Friday, July 3rd, the organizers of the “Red, White and Dead Zombie Party” are organizing an attempt at breaking the Guinness record for the largest zombie flash mob.  In conjunction with the festivities, at 8:30 that evening, all Fremont zombies will organize together to participate in a giant Thriller dance party, an attempt at another Guinness record!

So, will MJ’s passing today bring out the crowds next Friday?  We’ll see…

As soon as I heard he died I thought of this. He will always be the guy that did the Thriller video to me.

He was music videos in the 80's. Think of music videos and this guy is always top of anyone's list. I hope this brings out the crowds.

I can't find info on that either. I'm assuming they'll inform all at the outdoor cinema upon arrival.
